Senior IT Auditor

Salary: $82,400 - 119,450 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 3 years of experience in a Big 4 firm or a global organization focused on IT audit, cybersecurity, risk, or controls.
• We need a strong grasp of IT and cybersecurity risk management, controls, and governance frameworks such as NIST, ISO, COBIT, and COSO.
• We look for experience auditing cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and SaaS, with exposure to security architecture, configuration, and access controls.
• We value knowledge of identity and access management, including IAM, PAM, SSO, MFA, and oversight of privileged access.
• We expect familiarity with network, endpoint, and infrastructure security, as well as vulnerability and patch management processes.
• We seek understanding of secure development practices such as SDLC, Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps, along with application security controls.
• We require experience assessing data governance and protection practices, including encryption, classification, and data loss prevention.
• We look for the ability to evaluate resilience, disaster recovery, and ransomware recovery readiness.
• We need strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn technical findings into business insights.
• We expect effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
• We value experience using data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau to support audit testing and insights.
• We require proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to GenAI and AI-driven tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
• We need the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• We require a bachelors degree in cybersecurity, computer science, computer engineering, information technology, information systems, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or equivalent are preferred.

• We lead and carry out IT and cybersecurity audits with emphasis on emerging risks, including cloud, AI, and modern technology practices.
• We build a thorough understanding of technology environments, business processes, and the related risks and controls.
• We plan audit scope through process review, risk assessment, and control mapping.
• We assess cybersecurity governance, cloud security, identity and access management, infrastructure security, and data protection controls.
• We examine vulnerability management, secure development practices, and system change management processes.
• We perform audit testing and maintain clear, high-quality workpapers.
• We translate technical findings into practical business insights and recommendations.
• We communicate with stakeholders across Cyber, Technology, Data, and Product teams.
• We draft audit observations, explain risk implications, and support remediation activities.
• We track and validate remediation actions to confirm effective and lasting control improvements.
• We develop strong stakeholder relationships and align audit execution with business objectives.
• We use data analytics and automation tools to improve audit efficiency and ongoing monitoring.
