Environmental Remediation Project Manager

As an Environmental Project Manager based in Texas, you’ll play a crucial role in cleaning up our communities and improving our environment. What You’ll Do Lead and manage projects, planning, staffing, scheduling, and budgeting while ensuring quality, consistency, and safety. Collaborate and coordinate work with subcontractors, internal support staff, and subject matter experts. Apply technical excellence by analyzing data, preparing technical reports, and designing and implementing pilot studies and remedial systems. Engage with clients and regulators, present information, and facilitate discussions on site management strategies. Mentor and guide project teams, fostering growth and career development opportunities. What You’ll Need Education: Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, geology, or a related technical field. Experience: Proven experience in environmental projects, including site investigation and/or remediation, subcontractor oversight, and managing project teams. Certifications: 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or the ability to obtain and maintain it. Preferred Qualifications Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with USEPA regulations, including CERCLA and RCRA. DoD Experience: Experience managing DoD projects or working with the DoD Environmental Restoration Program. Advanced Degrees and Certifications: Master’s degree in a related field and/or certifications such as PE, PG, or PMP. US Citizenship: Required for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
