Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Tuesday Start Dates

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk obstetric nursing care in a Labor & Delivery and OBED setting across a 23-bed unit
• Administer and monitor specialty drips including magnesium and insulin drips
• Perform circulating and scrub roles as required within the unit
• Maintain a 2:1 patient ratio during night shift alongside a team of 4–6 RNs, 1 CST, and 1 unit secretary
• Fulfill an on-call requirement of 1 shift every 4 weeks
• Float within the women's service line to Postpartum and Antepartum units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of travel RN experience in high-risk OB Labor & Delivery
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with CPN/Meditech EMR systems preferred; familiarity with comparable EMR platforms required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• OBED (Obstetric Emergency Department) experience
• High-risk and high-volume OB experience
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
