Put your expertise in occupational therapy to work supporting students across multiple school sites near Albuquerque, NM. This contract role runs from November 1st to May 27th, 2027, providing essential OT services to students aged 3 to 22 with a range of disabilities. As students’ and schools’ needs shift, your assignment locations and caseload will adjust to ensure consistent support where it’s needed most during periods of staff leave.

What we’re looking for:

• Current OT license
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy (preferred)
• Comfortable working onsite across multiple locations as assignments may change with staff leaves
• Flexible, adaptable attitude and ability to navigate evolving caseloads and sites
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, students, and families
• Commitment to delivering evidence-based, meaningful therapeutic interventions for students with diverse needs and abilities

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students as assigned, consistently adhering to best practices and IEP requirements
• Assess student needs and develop or support individualized therapy plans in collaboration with school staff and families
• Document progress, maintain organized records, and support compliance with school and state protocols
• Serve as an ongoing resource and advocate for students’ physical, sensory, and functional needs
• Travel between school sites as required, with flexibility to adapt to schedule and caseload changes throughout the contract
