Paratransit mechanic

Pay: $25–$37/hour + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus. What You’ll Do Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on school buses. Complete preventive maintenance inspections to keep our fleet safe and road‑ready. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and diesel systems. Ensure all repairs meet DOT and safety standards. Work independently while staying connected with the team. What You’ll Get $25–$37/hour based on experience. $5,000 sign‑on bonus. Consistent Monday–Friday schedule (no nights). Six paid holidays. What You Bring Experience working on medium‑duty diesel vehicles or buses. Ability to work independently and stay organized. Strong commitment to safety and quality work. Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain). Bonus Points Experience with Ford, GM, or fleet vehicles. ASE certifications. Previous school bus or transit fleet experience. Awareness of ASE Certification Program and the opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses up to $7,820 per year.
