This position is a night shift role requiring 12-hour shifts. The contract duration is for 13 weeks. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing role. An active nursing license is required prior to the start of the position. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory. Travel experience is required, along with previous charge experience. Candidates should have familiarity with patient ratios and preferred charting systems. Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management, cardiac telemetry, and central line care. Healthcare professionals should also be experienced in management of dysrhythmias and oxygen administration. The candidate must be comfortable with procedures like chest tube management and drug administration protocols. Experience with telemetry monitoring and post-operative care is essential. The role includes responsibilities for outpatient observation and monitoring of high-acuity patients. The ideal candidate will be prepared to work weekends and possible holidays.
