Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:00–06:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting at an acute care hospital
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Adhere to unit scheduling requirements, including rotating weekend shifts as needed to meet unit needs
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, certifications, and clinical competency requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience with at least 1 year in NICU specialty
• Current BCLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume NICU environment
• Familiarity with Level III NICU protocols and neonatal patient populations
