Manufacturing Engineer

Our client is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer (New Product Information Focus) to support the transition of new designs into production by ensuring products are efficient, cost-effective, and ready for manufacturing. This role partners closely with design, operations, and purchasing teams to streamline processes, develop documentation, and support product launches.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve manufacturability, cost, and product performance Create and maintain BOMs and routing within ERP systems Develop and refine manufacturing, assembly, and test processes Identify process issues and implement corrective actions Support prototype builds and guide technicians through early production phases Coordinate with purchasing to source materials and vendors Generate production documentation and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements Assist with cost estimates, timelines, and product optimization efforts Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide project updates Support continuous improvement initiatives and new process implementation

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering environment Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, testing methods, and product development Experience with ERP systems and standard engineering tools Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally

Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Combination of office and production floor environment Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed Must be comfortable working around equipment, tools, and manufacturing conditions
