RN – Cath Lab (Travel Contract)

Location: Allen, TX

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Specialty: Cath Lab RN (Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology / Electrophysiology)

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Allen, Texas. The ideal candidate will have strong acute care Cath Lab experience and be comfortable supporting cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology procedures in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology procedures

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

• Provide moderate sedation monitoring and procedural support

• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during invasive procedures

• Support post-procedure recovery and patient stabilization

• Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards

• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical record systems

• Participate in on-call coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiovascular and radiology teams

• Ensure patient safety and high-quality procedural outcomes

• Assist with workflow efficiency and procedural preparation

• Follow hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License

• Minimum 1 year of acute hospital Cath Lab experience

• Experience circulating and/or scrubbing Cath Lab procedures

• Valid Driver’s License

• Ability to meet on-call response requirements

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)

• Experience in Electrophysiology (EP)

• Experience with Epic and Cupid documentation systems

• Experience in high-volume cardiac procedural environments
