Lead Maintenance Operations with a Team That Values Excellence BG Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Supervisor / Apartment Maintenance Technician to support a multifamily community in Richmond, Virginia (23220) . This position is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional service, maintaining community standards, and leading by example. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the property's buildings, apartments, and common areas remain in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical maintenance skills, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming living environment for residents. Position Overview This is a full-time opportunity offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and competitive compensation. The successful candidate will oversee daily maintenance operations while performing a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks throughout the community. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities Respond to and complete resident service requests promptly and professionally Perform apartment turns and make-ready projects Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and general maintenance issues Conduct preventive maintenance on community systems and equipment Inspect buildings, grounds, and common areas to identify and resolve maintenance concerns Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment Support resident satisfaction through exceptional customer service Assist with emergency maintenance needs when required Preferred Qualifications Previous apartment maintenance experience required Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair EPA Certification preferred Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and implement effective solutions Excellent organizational and communication skills Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities What We're Looking For We're seeking a maintenance professional who is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high property standards.
