Android Engineer

Overview of The Role:

We are looking for a Middle Android Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a large production Android application

What You'll Do:

Develop and maintain Android features using Kotlin

Build new UI using Jetpack Compose and support existing XML screens

Work with ViewModels, StateFlow, LiveData, and UI state management

Integrate REST APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp

Maintain features that currently use RxJava and assist with gradual modernization

Diagnose bugs and improve application performance and stability

Write unit tests and contribute to improving test coverage

Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Collaborate with backend developers, QA engineers, designers, and product managers

Support application releases and resolve production issues

What You'll Bring:

At least 2–3 years of Android development experience

Strong knowledge of Kotlin

Good understanding of the Android SDK and application lifecycle

Practical experience with Jetpack Compose

Experience maintaining XML layouts, Fragments, and View Binding

Knowledge of MVVM and Clean Architecture principles

Experience with Coroutines, Flow, and StateFlow

Experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, and REST APIs

Familiarity with RxJava

Experience with Navigation Component

Understanding of dependency injection

Experience with Git and collaborative development

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code

Experience with unit testing and mocking

Good debugging and problem-solving skills
