Under the supervision of the Chief Engineer, the Houseman supports the overall cleanliness, setup, and functionality of the property. This role plays a key part in maintaining an organized, safe, and welcoming environment through efficient setup, breakdown, and general operational support across departments. Provides support for property needs including event setups, furniture movement, equipment handling, and general maintenance assistance as directed by management.

Essential Duties:

• Approach all interaction with colleagues, Members, and guests in a courteous, service-oriented manner; attentive, friendly, helpful, and respectful to Members, guests, vendors and colleagues.
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and resetting of events, meetings, and operational spaces across the property, following instructions, diagrams, or layouts as provided.
• Load, unload, transport, move, and stage furniture, equipment, and supplies, including performing heavy lifting in support of the Maintenance Department.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, event spaces, and storage rooms before, during, and after use.
• Support the Maintenance Department with general labor tasks, including equipment handling, furniture movement, and property setup projects.
• Act as operational support for the Public Area Attendant and Locker Room Attendant as needed, assisting with coverage, setup, and cleanup tasks.
• Identify and promptly report maintenance, safety, or equipment issues to management.
• Demonstrate a service-oriented mindset and maintain a professional, helpful demeanor when interacting with Members, guests, managers, and colleagues.
• Report to work on time for scheduled shifts and meal and rest periods, properly clocked in and out, in full uniform and compliant with grooming standards.
• Follow all Club and departmental policies, procedures, safety standards, and guidelines.
• Attend all required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
