Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Healthcare Professional specializing in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) nursing in a respiratory and palliative care specialty unit. The position involves providing patient care on a 24-bed intermediate care unit that serves both pulmonary and palliative patient populations. The assignment offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on respiratory conditions, neuro-muscular disorders, lung transplants, and end-of-life symptoms management, on a night shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• End Date: 01/11/2027
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Level 1 Trauma Experience, and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an intermediate or critical care setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in pulmonary or respiratory patient care units.
• Additional Information: The unit is a 24-bed intermediate care facility that manages patients with lung diseases, complex pulmonary problems, and those requiring less than intensive care but more than acute medical units. Palliative care services are also provided on this floor, including symptom management and end-of-life care.
