Job TitleJob DescriptionServes as the primary medical authority for the Mission, providing comprehensive primary care, urgent care, and emergency medical services to eligible employees and family members.Manages the posts preventive health programs including immunizations, health education, and environmental health screenings.Adjudicates medical evidence for pre-employment, in-service, and fitness-for-duty evaluations, specifically determining a candidates ability to serve at high threat or medically under-served posts.Diagnoses and treats children and adults for all conditions that are standard to a primary care clinic, including tropical, parasitic, and infectious diseases common to the region of assignment.Applies professional diagnostic acumen to process medical clearances, making determination within the framework of 16 FAM regulations and Department policies to safeguard the health of employees and their dependents.
