For information, visit Responsibilities This position is accountable for overseeing education and training related to basic and advanced life support for all staff throughout the enterprise including but not limited to clinical staff, physicians, residents, and graduate medical education (GME) students. This educator will provide initial and follow up education with a continued needs assessment to ensure that staff is competent to respond/treat patients who are experiencing life threatening events under the guidelines of the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association guidelines, as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics. The focus will be on high risk, low volume events to prepare staff for immediate recall and action in order to improve quality outcomes. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Minimum of two (2) years teaching experience ALS instructor Bachelor’s Degree in health-related field preferred Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certificate upon hire and maintain current. BLS, ACLS, PALS Instructor status required Minimum of five (5) years Emergency related experience required Minimum of two (2) years teaching experience preferred Must be able to travel to a variety of Prime Healthcare facilities on an as needed basis Pay Transparency Employment Status Full Time Shift Variable Equal Employment Opportunity Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
