Key Responsibilities of the Echo Tech - Interventional Radiology

• Perform ultrasound procedures on patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric with cardiac issues
• Operate specialized equipment to conduct echocardiograms
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of imaging equipment
• Work effectively in high-pressure, stat situations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide accurate diagnostics

Requirements of the Echo Tech - Interventional Radiology

• 2 years of experience or completion of an accredited course in Echo-cardiology
• Current registry or certification in Adult Echo
• Current registry or certification in vascular ultrasound
• ARDMS or ARRT certification
• BLS certification
