Fire Sprinkler Foreman

Position Summary Oversee Fire Protection Systems installation for all types of new and existing projects. Projects will include industrial, commercial and some residential. Demonstrate understanding of NFPA code, design/installation methods, hydraulic calculations, and material lists for fire sprinkler systems. Location This position is located in Houston, Texas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Understand design & layout of fire sprinkler systems Perform hydraulic calculations Conduct field surveying List system piping for fabrication Coordinate installation between trades Manage cost and understand budgets REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS NICET certification preferred but not required Fire sprinkler experience General mechanical knowledge Experience in fire protection installation or design PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Demonstrated competency in verbal and written business communication skills Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with company guidelines Able to complete documentation and administrative duties; proficient with personal computers and Microsoft Office SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee installation labor on assigned projects Other Requirements Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
