Travel Sterile Processing Technician

Job Description

Shift: 11 AM - 7 PM

Key Responsibilities

Clean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
Operate sterilization equipment and follow established sterilization procedures.
Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage.
Assemble and prepare instrument trays and surgical sets according to established protocols.
Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation.
Follow hospital policies, infection prevention guidelines, and regulatory standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sterile processing work environment.
Coordinate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments and supplies.

Requirements

Valid Sterile Processing Technician certification is required.
Knowledge of instrument processing, decontamination, sterilization, and infection control procedures.
Ability to follow established protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Ability to work the assigned shift and complete a 40-hour workweek.
