Domestic jobs and manufacturing are fundamental to our full-lifecycle approach to projects, along with a long-term ownership model and a company culture dedicated to our community partners and protecting the natural environment.Job Summary:The Procurement Specialist (P2) is an individual contributor and member of the Procurement team. The Procurement Specialist reports to the Senior Manager of Procurement and will have a focus on assisting the Procurement Execution team in supporting projects through the sourcing, purchasing, and organization of high voltage (HV), medium voltage (MV), and main power transformer (MPT) Owner Supplied Equipment during development and construction.Essential Functions:Develop and maintain contacts and relationships with major equipment manufacturers and service suppliers including but not limited to HV and MV Equipment.Ensure competitive bids are obtained for purchase of equipment as well as service contracts and ensure the pricing is consistent with established project budgets.Ensure inventory of Owner Supplied Equipment is always up to date.Provide updates on contractual timelines and obligations.Qualifications:Associates or BS in a related field2+ years of experience in procurement and equipment purchasing agreements in HV experience a plusExperience working in an energy industryDetail oriented with a demonstrated high level of organizationDemonstrate a sense of urgency when faced with important procurement issues that impact the schedule and budgets of renewable projects.Demonstrate excellent intrapersonal and communication skillsDemonstrate knowledge of purchase agreements and inherent contractual risksAble to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced business environmentPlease Note: This is an in-office role, requiring on site presence in our office a minimum of three days per week with hybrid flexibility of working remotely two days per week, subject to manager and policy approval. #LIHybridPhysical Demands:Position will require sitting for long periods of time as well as occasionally lifting up to twenty-pound boxes.Occasional travelApplicants must have current authorization to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for an employment visa now or in the future.
