Structural Carpentry Assistant

Job Summary: Do you love working with your hands and watching a structure take shape from the ground up? We are partnering with a thriving construction company to find a hardworking and dependable Structural Carpentry Assistant to support their framing and building crews on active job sites. In this hands-on role, you will work shoulder-to-shoulder with experienced carpenters to measure, cut, and assemble the lumber and structural components that form the backbone of every project-from framing walls and floors to setting beams, joists, and staircases. Requirements:

• Assist lead carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling lumber and structural components to frame walls, floors, roofs, and staircases according to blueprints and job specifications
• Load, unload, and move building materials, tools, and equipment around the job site while keeping work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools-such as circular saws, drills, nail guns, and levels-in accordance with all OSHA and site safety standards
• Support the crew with layout, bracing, and fastening tasks and complete additional duties as directed by the site supervisor or lead carpenter

Qualifications:

• Prior construction, framing, or general labor experience preferred; a strong willingness to learn structural carpentry on the job is essential
• Ability to safely lift and carry heavy materials and to stand, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods
• Basic familiarity with hand and power tools, tape measures, and reading simple measurements or blueprints
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded team player with strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic
• Spanish only is okay

Schedule & Pay:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday/Saturday 8:00AM - 5:00PM
• Salary: $20.00
