Claims Adjuster Trainee As a claims adjuster trainee , you’ll learn how to help customers get back on the road after an accident. This role is not a field position; you’ll build relationships with customers over the phone and manage a heavy caseload of claims efficiently from start to finish. You’ll receive ongoing coaching and in‑depth training on property damage and insurance contracts so you can confidently and independently adjust claims. This is a hybrid role. You’ll work in the office two days per week chosen by local leadership and have the flexibility to work from home or the office for the remaining three days for a period of 12 months. After that period, on‑site attendance will depend on business needs. Location Torrance, CA Duties & Responsibilities Determine coverage Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages) Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims Must-Have Qualifications Three years of work experience Associate’s degree and two years of work experience Bachelor’s degree Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm for the first 3 weeks; Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm thereafter, depending on business needs.
