Operations Manager

Location: Oklahoma City, OK Salary: $90,000.00 USD Annually - $100,000.00 USD Annually Description One of our best clients is currently searching for a Distribution Manager for their facility located just outside Oklahoma City, OK. They are a leading wholesale food distribution company serving restaurants, retailers, institutions, and foodservice customers throughout the region. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to lead our warehouse and distribution operations. Position Summary The Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and transportation activities within our food distribution facility. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of products while maintaining compliance with food safety regulations and company standards. Key Responsibilities Manage daily warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, storage, order selection, shipping, and transportation. Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors, drivers, and warehouse associates. Ensure compliance with all food safety, OSHA, DOT, HACCP, and company policies. Monitor inventory accuracy and implement processes to minimize shrink and product loss. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, safety, and customer service. Develop and manage labor schedules to meet operational demands while controlling costs. Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, Transportation, and Customer Service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Analyze operational metrics and prepare reports on productivity, inventory, safety, and service performance. Oversee equipment maintenance and facility operations to ensure a safe working environment. Manage budgets, labor costs, and operational expenses. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 5+ years of warehouse or distribution management experience, preferably in wholesale food distribution or foodservice. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation operations. Experience managing large teams in a fast-paced distribution environment. Knowledge of FDA, HACCP, OSHA, and food safety regulations. Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong analytical abilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management software. Preferred Qualifications Experience with refrigerated, frozen, and dry goods distribution. Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
