Lube TechnicianWe are seeking a Lube Technician to join our team. Along with the typical oil changes, our team will perform brake, tire, alignments, shock/strut, battery and overall fluids, filters and belt replacement services.By working at a Ford dealership, you can be a part of a brand that honors the past, and is invested in the future. Join the Ford Family where we value service to each other and the world as much as to our customers!BenefitsHealth, Medical and Dental401K PlanPaid time off and vacationGrowth opportunitiesEmployee vehicle purchase plansFamily owned and operatedLong term job securityFlexible Work ScheduleRequirementsPerform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.Perform regular scheduled maintenance on all makes and models.Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers.Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.Basic maintenance including but not limited to: Tire rotations and Tire replacement, Brake Inspection, Fluid top off, Lubrication services, Batteries, Light bulbs, etc.QualificationsAt least 2 years of automotive experienceMust be a team player and communicate/problem solve to achieve department goalsAutomotive diagnostics and general familiarity with vehicle operating systems desirableMust have a driver's license and a commercially insurable Motor Vehicle ReportAbility to lift 50lbsWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
