Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE Must-Have: - EFM competency - ACLS certification - BLS certification - NRP certification - SVE competency - C-Section circulation experience - 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery Description: This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The position requires working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends. This role includes guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Candidates must be proficient in intermediate fetal monitoring. There are no on-call requirements for this position. A typical patient ratio is 1:3. The unit is equipped with Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and US equipment. Experience in a high-volume unit is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude. The dressing code allows for scrub colors to be navy blue, with restrictions on t-shirts. Staff will adhere to unit policies and guidelines, especially regarding attendance. The unit recognizes outstanding team performances and participates in team-building events. This role offers exposure to new equipment and technologies, along with a supportive team environment.
