Datastage Developer
Immediate need for a talented DataStage Developer. This is a 11+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Raleigh, NC; Phoenix, AZ; Morristown, NJ (Onsite).
Pay Range: $40 - $45/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain DataStage ETL jobs according to specifications.
- Work with Business teams to understand the requirement, design, develop and test DataStage jobs and deploy into production
- Provide support for production DataStage jobs as needed.
- Develop new DataStage jobs to load data into the data warehouse.
- Test DataStage jobs for accuracy and performance.
- Deploy DataStage jobs to production environments.
- Maintain documentation for all developed jobs.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience
- Bachelor's degree in information system, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4 + years of experience in DataStage development.
- Experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Informatica, Ab Initio, or Oracle ETL.
- Strong SQL skills and other relevant coding languages.
- Experience with Hadoop is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Expert in DataStage solution conception, design, and deployment.
- Outstanding analytical & problem-solving abilities.
- The capacity to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
