Vendor - Stadium or Arena - Univ. of Minnesota - Athletics CombinedThe Vendor carries, transports, and sells food and alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic beverages to guests in their seats. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $16.37. Benefits vary by location and are subject to any legal requirements or limitations, employee eligibility status, and where the employee lives and/or works.Job Responsibilities:Carries an assortment of food or beverage items for in seat sales to guestsEnsures bins, carrying trays, and bags are clean and ready for useAdheres to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons' identificationProcesses cash transactions for food and beverage items served; accepts payments and makes change as appropriateUpholds inventory integrity and adheres to cash handling policies and proceduresMaintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including established food safety and sanitationEnsures security of company assetsQualifications:Previous food and beverage service experience preferredExperience as a roving vendor a plusDemonstrates excellent guest service skillsDemonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbalRequires basic math and counting skillsRequires constant standing, walking, stooping, bending, and climbing stairsAbility to work quickly, energetically, and efficientlyWork may involve exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperaturesIdeal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidaysThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
