This full-time itinerant position spans several school sites in the greater Nashwauk area, delivering vital physical therapy services to K-12 students. Your work will make a real difference, providing individualized care based on students’ needs as outlined in their IEPs.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience or strong interest in school-based therapy for children and adolescents
• Ability to effectively manage and support a diverse caseload
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists
• Flexibility and organization to travel between assigned school locations

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in alignment with their IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families for coordinated care and student progress
• Traveling between school sites including Deer River, Coleraine, Nashwauk, Floodwood, Hill City, and Remer
• Provide documentation, progress reports, and maintain records in accordance with school district requirements
• Schedule and manage a caseload of approximately 63 K-12 students

Additional Details

• Position begins 8/24/2026 and is anticipated to last six to nine months to cover a medical leave
• Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-3:45pm, totaling 37.5 hours weekly
• Caseload includes a diverse group of 63 students with a range of physical therapy needs
