The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a critical access hospital environment. Shift Information This position requires flexibility, as shifts may include both days and nights, as well as weekends and holidays. Key Responsibilities Provide patient care in a Med-Surg setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of all patients. Utilize EPIC electronic health record systems to document patient information and care provided. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor and assess patient health status, reporting any changes to the healthcare team promptly. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Support patients and their families by providing health education and guidance. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in a nursing role. Current certifications in PALS, BLS/BCLS, and ACLS required. Strong proficiency in EPIC electronic health record systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Additional Information Holiday coverage is required for this position.
