Our stump to finished product reach allows for greater control of the quality but also greater insight into creative options and long-term sustainability of the materials used.The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality wood components for custom millwork, cabinetry, and architectural woodworking projects. This position requires strong machine competency, sound understanding of multi-axis machining fundamentals, and the ability to troubleshoot complex operations to meet quality, safety, and schedule requirements.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC routers and related woodworking machinery to manufacture parts according to shop drawings and specificationsLoad, verify, and edit CNC programs as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiencySelect appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each jobInspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specificationsTroubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to feeds, speeds, and tool pathsPerform routine machine maintenance and cleaningMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety standardsCoordinate with shop supervisors, programmers, and other operators to meet production deadlinesRequirements2+ years of experience operating CNC equipment in a woodworking or manufacturing environment (or equivalent training)Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and specificationsBasic understanding of CNC programming concepts (G-code familiarity preferred)Experience with CNC routers used for wood, MDF, plywood, veneers, and solid lumberFamiliarity with custom millwork, cabinetry, or architectural woodworkStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials up to 50 lbs.Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
