Millwright - Per Diem OfferedTrillium Construction is looking for Millwright Technicians to install robotic equipment in distribution centers.This job is in Boston, MA for 6-12 weeks with possible jobs thereafter. Pay: $28-$32 plus $120 per diem, all seven days.The candidate should be a self-starter that can handle multiple tasks in parallel and show the ability to continually advance your knowledge to drive process improvement for future installations. The candidate should have the ability to quickly read and absorb installation documentation to accurately repeat tasks themselves in addition to leading others.Job duties:Manage relationships within internal teams as well as client contactsRobust knowledge of toolsSocket wrenches and socket sizesBattery Operated Drills and Impact DriversCan differentiate different bit sizesCan swap out drill bits for different sizesCan drill holes with the different drill sizesScrew drivers (Philips and standard) understands the differenceAbility to read a tape measure and mark out measurements based on drawingsCan read varying and off sizes of a tape measureCan read the following on a tape measure in inches - 7 3/4, 6 5/8, 4 1/2, 12 1/4Can operate independently and also lead others based on a drawingFollows repeated tasks like drilling and anchoring equipment to the floorCan teach the process or lead others on specific job functionsCan repeat the task on a daily basis without getting off taskMust have experience in warehouse/distribution centers. Background in construction, warehousing, or equipment installation is highly beneficial. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience supporting installation of construction materials or other hardware. Success working both as a member of a team and independently. Self-starter with the ability to work independently or lead others to complete tasks. Problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments. Proficiency working with hand and power tools is expected. Experience reading CAD drawings is ideal. Travel will be 80-100% with the option to travel home every 2 weeks. Valid driver's license.
