Entry Level Quality Tech – Meat Packaging - ¡Sí, hablamos español!

Location: Budd Lake, NJ

Pay: $16.50/hour

Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 2nd shift, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Schedule: Monday-Friday + Mandatory Saturdays

Work Environment: Refrigerated meat manufacturing and packaging facility

We are currently hiring Entry Level Quality Tech's for a fast-paced meat packaging facility in Budd Lake, NJ. Job Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks throughout the production and packaging process
• Inspect meat products, packaging, labels, and dates to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards
• Monitor production areas to ensure adherence to company procedures, GMP regulations, and sanitation requirements
• Complete quality documentation, reports, and production records accurately
• Identify and communicate quality concerns, safety issues, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors
• Verify proper packaging materials are being used for each product
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality control, hygiene, and PPE requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
• Work closely with production staff to ensure all products meet company and customer standards

Requirements

• Previous Quality Assurance, Quality Control, food production, meat processing, or warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, GMP-regulated production environment
• Must be comfortable working in a refrigerated facility and moderate to high noise levels
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
• Must be reliable with excellent attendance
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday and mandatory Saturdays
