We are looking to hire Managers and Assistant Managers for our new Culver's coming to Toledo, located just off of Secor Rd. We are beginning to hire now, so training will be complete before our expected January opening.
Maintains excellence in guest service and quality control of operations consistently to ensure the company mission is attained.
Essential functions include running shifts effectively to ensure quality products, guest service, and restaurant cleanliness meet system standards; ensuring guests receive quality products in five minutes or less for in house orders and four minutes or less for drive thru orders; ensuring proper product quality control, presentation and hold times according to the Operations Training Manual, Order Assembly; accessing financial information and completing weekly sales and labor during their shift; monitoring and coaching team on safety best practices related to the Culver's hazard communication program and workplace safety; empowering team to handle guest comments "the Culver's way"; ensuring team is knowledgeable concerning products and guest service; demonstrating and maintaining a positive attitude among team members; demonstrating and ensuring proper personal hygiene and food safety practices are maintained in the restaurant; displaying point of purchase (P.O.P.) materials timely according to the current marketing campaign; demonstrating proficiency on all restaurant positions; providing ongoing development of crew chief and shift leader using the management training checklist; maintaining an adequate team on each shift to meet labor cost standards; ensuring proper follow up of visitation and full field reports, including but not limited to cleanliness, hospitality, and ground appearance; performing daily morning, afternoon and evening restaurant shifts; preparing and reviewing daily reconciliation report against daily control totals from cash register system ensuring accuracy; running financial report, counting afternoon drawers, entering drawer pickups and completing daily; ensuring team is cross-trained by the training team effectively; helping identify and develop candidates for the crew chief position; completing food inventory order accurately, using forecasts and projections based on current restaurant sales; observing and maintaining daily inventory levels accurately, based on current restaurant sales; ensuring shelf life, rotation of inventory and tempering sheet is maintained; delegating restaurant and equipment cleaning; directing weekly and monthly odd jobs to team assigning them to daily deployment sheet; demonstrating positive and effective role modeling for all team members through appearance and attitude; following restaurant policies and procedures consistently; demonstrating and ensuring team is following system standards for uniforms and appearance; attending all manager and team member meetings; following and encouraging team to follow all restaurant policies and procedures; checking e-mail and extranet twice daily during each shift and responding as necessary; using radiant for cash counting procedures.
Qualifications include college graduate with a degree in hotel and restaurant management or equivalent experience, certified from a national food safety program, one year experience in a supervisory position, ability to effectively organize work, communicate well and be management oriented, knowledgeable in all aspects of business and show good judgment, demonstrates an energetic, positive attitude that is contagious. Compensation is commensurate with person's qualifications and will reflect present market for a person of similar responsibilities. Benefits available for full time managers.
Physical abilities include standing constantly, walking constantly, sitting occasionally, handling constantly, lifting/carrying 10 lbs or less constantly, lifting/carrying 11-20 lbs constantly, lifting/carrying 21-50 lbs frequently, lifting/carrying 51-100 lbs occasionally.
Management leadership success factors include communication, change management, decision making & problem solving, innovation, creativity & vision, planning (short and long term), organizational relationships, builds and sustains a high performance team, accountability.
Work schedule includes 8 hour shift, 10 hour shift, weekend availability, holidays, day shift, night shift.
