Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $26.80 / Hour Job Schedule Daytime: Mon 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM, Tue 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM, Wed 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM, Sun 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an educational location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner while documenting security‑related concerns. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and general questions, and report maintenance and/or policy‑related issues to the appropriate personnel. Support campus policies by observing daily activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and coordinating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or campus representatives when needed. Minimum Requirements A minimum of 2 years of security‑related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card and/or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
