Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance DirectorWe’re currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance and safety of our building, equipment, and grounds.Job Summary: The Maintenance Director is responsible for ensuring that the facility, including all buildings, utilities, equipment, and grounds, is safe, operational, and well-maintained in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents and staff.What We Offer: (applicable to full time employees only)Medical, Dental, Vision InsurancePaid Time Off"Great Work Perks" - employee discount programEmployer Paid Life Insurance & Employee Paid Life Insurance OptionsKey Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance, general repairs, and facility improvements.Maintain all aspects of the building, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural integrity.Ensure lawn and grounds are well-maintained and presentable at all times.Coordinate and supervise external contractors for major repairs or construction projects.Ensure compliance with Life Safety Codes and all regulatory requirements.Maintain an organized system for documenting maintenance logs and inspections.Supervise and perform floor care tasks as needed.Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or healthcare setting.Strong and full working knowledge of Life Safety Regulations is required.Ability to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and families.Reliable attendance and the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.Why Join Us?We are proud to provide a supportive and inclusive workplace where your role makes a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
