What You'll Do Perform incoming inspections of externally sourced metal components using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators) Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable standards Identify, document, and properly quarantine nonconforming materials Train under a Quality Assurance Specialist in metrology practices Help ensure calibration compliance aligned with ISO 9001 requirements Progress toward owning the metrology function Operate testing equipment (including CNG Series Test and HKAUTO systems) after training Maintain accurate test documentation and records Investigate defects and identify root causes using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, 8D, and FMEA Partner with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions Contribute to Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement initiatives Maintain accurate quality records in compliance with ISO 9001 Prepare reports, including non-conformance and corrective action summaries Present updates to the Operations Team Work closely with production, engineering, supply chain, and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met Provide guidance and training to team members on inspection methods and quality practices What We're Looking for High school diploma or equivalent 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or quality inspection Hands‑on experience using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment Strong knowledge of machining processes and metal components Solid math skills, including geometry and basic statistics Proficiency with spreadsheets and standard office software Experience with optical comparators and advanced inspection tools Familiarity with ERP systems Understanding of ISO 9001 standards and quality systems Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Problem‑solving mindset with a root cause approach Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment What We Offer Medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family Training opportunities Paid vacation, PTO, and holidays Gym reimbursements, and more!
