Senior Data Scientist

Kforce has a client in Deerfield Beach, FL that is seeking a Senior Data Scientist. Key Responsibilities:

• Model Development: Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models utilizing the Microsoft technology stack (Azure AI Foundry, Azure ML, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Synapse Analytics) to solve supply chain challenges, including demand forecasting, optimization, and logistics planning
• Data Analysis: Utilize statistical analysis and data mining techniques to interpret complex data sets, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Deployment: Work with architects to deploy machine learning models into production environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and integration with existing systems
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including the business, end users and IT, to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions
• Presentation: Prepare and present findings, complex models, and statistical outputs to leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights
• Use Case Development: Understand various business opportunity areas and underlying data to assess potential value propositions. Including suitability for advanced analytics solutions and making recommendations on best approach
• Education: Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a data scientist, with a strong focus on supply chain management and problem-solving
• Proficiency in Python and experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
• Experience with Oracle Databases
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, PyTorch)
• Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms and data warehousing solutions
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to present complex data insights and models to non-technical stakeholders
• Analytical Mindset: Proven problem-solving skills with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making

• Experience in supply chain optimization tools and methodologies particularly in the Automotive Industry
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI) to communicate findings effectively
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric
