We are recruiting a Press Supervisor to join our talented team of high-impact employees on 1st shift in our Milton, WI production facility. Join a company that values your talent, supports your professional development, and is committed to excellence in everything we do.The Press Supervisor provides day-to-day supervision for the Press team which includes Operators, 2nd Operators, Helpers, and Mail Sorters. The Press Supervisor also performs various administrative tasks to support the department.Qualified candidates will:Provide day-to-day supervision and coaching of Press staff as required. Complete annual performance reviews in collaboration with the Department Manager. Participate in the interview and selection process of new employees.Review and approve timecards, eligibility for the perfect attendance bonus, and hours worked by temporary employees on a weekly basis. Review and respond to requests for time off.Perform daily check-in at shift change, making necessary adjustments to press assignments when employees are absent, communicate daily roster numbers to HR and staffing agencies.Regularly walk the production floor, checking in with each press to ensure that jobs are running smoothly and offering assistance as needed.Communicate essential information with the incoming/outgoing supervisor at shift change. Maintain regular communication with other departments in the organization such as Customer Service, Warehouse, and Lettershop.Perform administrative tasks such as creating daily press assignments, reviewing and reconciling operator time sheets, monitoring inventory of press consumables and supplies and placing orders to replenish stock when necessary.Review production schedules and propose modifications as needed and approve samples once production begins.Serve as backup when the Press Plant Manager is out of the plant.Experience and Education:Must have a high school diploma or GED.At least 3-5 years of prior supervisory experience.Experience working in a Windows based environment.Prior experience as a lithographic press operator including experience with inkjet printing, inline finishing, and rotary cutters is strongly preferred.Qualifications:Strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to lead teamsThis full-time position includes the following benefits:Medical, Dental and Vision coverageFlexible Spending Account (FSA)401k saving plan with company matchPaid VacationPaid Holidays
