Ready for your next travel assignment? We’re hiring experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for a 13-week travel contract in Susanville, California.
This position offers a guaranteed 36-hour weekly schedule, primarily working 12-hour night shifts. The selected RN will support both the Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical unit, making this an excellent opportunity for a flexible nurse with experience in both areas.

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Contract Dates: September 21, 2026 – December 19, 2026
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Shift Flexibility: The RN may occasionally be required to work day shifts based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities:
Deliver timely and compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Assess patients, recognize changes in condition, and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions according to established protocols.
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the clinical care team.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Support the Medical-Surgical department when required.
Follow all hospital safety, infection-control, and patient-care standards.
Respond effectively in emergency and rapidly changing clinical situations.
Requirements:
Active and unrestricted California RN license.
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
Previous Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
Comfortable working in both the Emergency Department and Med-Surg unit.
Willingness to work occasional day shifts when required.
Completed and signed Meal Waiver and Elder Abuse forms.
Must meet the facility’s travel-radius requirements.
