Physician - Orthopaedic Surgery

Job Details:
Provide orthopedic surgery coverage starting 2 weeks in December 2026 with ongoing needs of approximately 2 weeks per month
24-hour beeper call coverage with no requirement to be onsite
Flexible shift times, typically 7am-7am schedule
Light patient volume with 1-4 patient encounters per shift
Perform total joint replacements including hip and knee procedures
Handle joint revision and repair surgeries for shoulder, hip, and knee
Must maintain active New Mexico medical license and DEA registration
Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency required
Complete hospital privileging process and payor credentialing (90-day timeframe)
Provide case logs within past 24 months for credentialing purposes
Submit all required documentation promptly to avoid delays
