ENT (Otolaryngology) Physician - Hybrid Hospitalist & Outpatient Role
Our Organization | Atlanta, GeorgiaWe are collaborating with a prestigious medical school to find a Board Certified or Board Eligible Otolaryngologist to join our expanding Department of Otolaryngology. This unique position merges inpatient ENT hospitalist responsibilities with outpatient general otolaryngology practice.

This full-time role provides the chance to develop a well-rounded clinical practice within one of the top academic health systems in the country, while also engaging in teaching, research, and multidisciplinary patient care. Responsibilities will include inpatient care at our flagship hospital and outpatient services at a community-based medical center.
Position Highlights- Engage in a hybrid practice model that integrates inpatient and outpatient care, utilizing advanced facilities and equipment, along with a robust referral network within a large health system.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment with dedicated support from experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Achieve an academic appointment with the medical school, allowing participation in resident and fellow education, clinical research, scholarly activities, and institutional initiatives.

- Qualifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology with a valid Georgia medical license and DEA, or the ability to obtain them. Strong clinical and interpersonal skills, along with an interest in academic medicine and collaborative care. All experience levels are encouraged to apply.
- Deliver consultative and procedural care at our flagship tertiary care facility.
- Manage common ENT consultations, including airway evaluations, vocal cord injections, and bedside procedures.
- Receive support from experienced PAs who assist with consultations, care coordination, and inpatient management.
- Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration for the care of complex patients, including immunocompromised transplant populations.
- Join our newly established community-based clinic, offering a wide range of ENT services.
- Provide general ENT care for patients of all ages, including office-based procedures and management of benign and malignant conditions.
- The clinic is equipped with audiology services, a dedicated audiology booth, and ultrasound capabilities.
- The hybrid schedule is adaptable based on the physician's interests and experience, typically consisting of 3-4 days of inpatient hospitalist duties and 2-3 days in the outpatient clinic.
- Day shift hospitalist coverage is from 7 AM to 5 PM, with APPs managing first-call responsibilities and after-hours cases handled by the on-call team, ensuring a predictable daytime schedule.
- Outpatient call averages 5-6 shifts per month.
