In this role, you’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, guide the successful delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater initiatives, and help drive innovative, sustainable infrastructure solutions that improve system resilience, enhance environmental stewardship, and make a lasting impact where it matters most.What You'll Do:Lead and inspire a team of water/wastewater professionals, keeping a pulse on team morale and engagement and fostering engagement, collaboration, and technical excellenceOversee staffing levels, resource allocation, and operational activities to support the successful delivery of water/wastewater projectsMentor and develop technical staff and managers, promoting high‑quality work that meets safety, schedule, and budget expectationsDirectly manage water/wastewater projects of varying size and complexity—from planning and proposals through execution and closeoutMonitor project financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and support business practice goalsMaintain clear, consistent communication with leadership and project teams, sharing performance updates, milestones, and successesChampion quality control, risk management, and project audits to ensure reliable, compliant, and resilient water/wastewater solutionsWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferredMinimum of 15 years of progressive engineering experience required; including technical leadership and project management experienceExperience in water/wastewater treatmentProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredExpert knowledge of engineering fundamentals and specialty areasProven success as a leader—strategic, technically astute, and client-focusedExcellent verbal and written communication skillsParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredDeep understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsStrong background in business development and client relationshipsAbility to inspire, motivate, and build relationships across the companyStrong experience with project budgeting and financial oversightWhy You'll Love It Here:Take the lead on meaningful water and wastewater projects that protect public health, preserve natural resources, and strengthen community resilienceCollaborate with a passionate team of water professionals who value innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous technical growthThrive in a flexible, supportive work environment while contributing to high-visibility infrastructure projects that make a lasting differenceCurious about the impactful work our Water team is doing?
