[About the Role]
Join a dynamic team as a Service Engineer specializing in Dell PowerEdge and enterprise server hardware. In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you ll deliver expert on-site support, troubleshooting, and hardware repairs that keep mission-critical systems running. [Responsibilities]

- Deliver on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise servers
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve server hardware failures to minimize downtime
- Perform physical installation, removal, replacement, and repair of hardware components including CPUs, memory, power supplies, storage, RAID/HBA, fans, NICs, GPUs, and motherboards
- Execute rack-and-stack, server deployment, cabling, and configuration tasks
- Conduct firmware and BIOS updates using tools like Dell iDRAC
- Perform routine and emergency break/fix, as well as preventive maintenance
- Accurately document service activities, hardware replacements, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to provide timely updates and drive issue resolution
- Escalate complex technical problems as needed
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide extended coverage when required

[Required Skills and Experience]

- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience supporting enterprise server hardware
- Proven proficiency in server hardware installation, diagnostics, repair, and component replacement
- Strong expertise with rack-mounted servers in data center or field service settings
- Experience with hardware diagnostics, BIOS/firmware, and server management tools
- Familiarity with Linux or similar OS environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and travel to customer sites (lifting up to 50 lbs. required)
- Flexible to support on-call schedules

[Preferred Skills]

- Experience supporting Dell PowerEdge servers
- Dell or other enterprise hardware certifications
- Proficiency with iDRAC, iLO, or similar server management platforms
- Background supporting GPU/AI server infrastructure
- Familiarity with data center operations, rack/stack, structured cabling, or deployment
- Associate s or Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
