Equipment Operator

Equipment OperatorWe are currently seeking experienced safety-conscious Equipment Operator to join the team at our Canton Transfer Station, Canton TX. Previous landfill or waste experience would be a huge plus, but willing to train the right candidate.The position is a Day Shift working Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays working 45-55 hours a week.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform maintenance around the site and facilities as neededOperating dozers, excavators, compactors, along with trucks and smaller equipmentMust be able to work outside in all weather conditionsCustomer service and must be able to communicate with your teamWorking Conditions and Physical Effort:The work environment is an outdoor landfill setting. The employee will work near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
