Nursing - PACU

PACU Nurse Opportunity in Warwick, Rhode Island

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse for a temporary assignment in Warwick, Rhode Island. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Job Title: PACU Nurse

Location: Warwick, Rhode Island

Schedule: 8:00AM - 4:00PM x 5

Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension

Pay Rate: $65 - $70/hr

Responsibilities for a PACU:

• Work 5-8 hour shifts, plus call as required

• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications

• Demonstrate and utilize PACU experience in patient care delivery

• Complete required skills checklist prior to submission

• Provide 2 professional references for submission

• Complete specialty competency exam, basic EKG exam, pharmacology exam, and core competencies during onboarding

• Maintain valid state licensure and ensure license verification is current

• Comply with health requirements including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, and TB testing

• Complete fit testing as part of health compliance requirements

• Submit to criminal background check and employment verification

• Complete confidentiality agreement and orientation packet during onboarding

• Maintain BSN credential documentation

• Comply with applicable fingerprinting requirements for RNs

• Complete occupational health clearance requirements prior to start
