In this role, you will prepare a variety of hot and cold food items for restaurant outlets, banquets, and catering events while following established recipes and culinary standards. Qualifications 1 year of experience in a professional full-service kitchen required. Culinary school or apprenticeship program preferred. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in a team environment. JOB DETAILS Responsibilities: Prepare and service all food items, to include hot and cold, for all meal periods in the outlets, banquets and/or catering menus according to property recipes and standards. Ensure production of food in a timely manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area following safety guidelines. Ensure food meets the quality, taste, and appearance standards of DMC. Check and complete mise en place and pars to set-up the station. Maintain a working knowledge of properly storing, rotating and maintaining products. Maintain comprehensive preparation and knife skills. Ensure outlined prep is completed in a timely manner for the next shift. Other duties as assigned by management. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: Required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Required to stand for long periods of time. Required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds - Frequently Required to push and/or pull 90+ pounds and lift up to 90 pounds with assistance - Occasionally Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
