Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite outpatient office where you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and support staff. The Pain Management Center operates from Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM, providing a structured schedule that supports work-life balance for our staff. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments by obtaining detailed medical histories and performing comprehensive physical examinations for patients referred by supervising physicians.
• Independently carry out follow-up visits in accordance with the organization's Incident II guidelines, ensuring continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, verifying information during each appointment to enable informed clinical decision-making.
• Analyze diagnostic test data to evaluate patient progress and determine necessity for additional appointments or treatment modifications.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop targeted care plans that include appropriate treatment options and regularly reassess patient responses to therapies.
• Deliver high-quality care that meets or exceeds established benchmarks for productivity and patient satisfaction within the clinic.
• Provide education and counseling to patients, empowering them with knowledge about their conditions and treatment pathways.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with a Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.
• An active and valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in New York State.

• Superior clinical skills complemented by strong interpersonal and organizational abilities, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Practice Management systems is essential to streamline operations and maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, to manage correspondence and data efficiently.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
