Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT(N) or CNMT certification for a hospital radiology department on a day shift schedule.
Details
- Radiology/Nuclear Medicine department setting
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- No weekends, on-call, or call-back required
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- ARRT(N) or CNMT certification required
- NJ State License required for Nuclear Medicine (license required if applicable)
- BS in Nuclear Medicine or graduate of an approved RT and Nuclear Medicine program required
- CPR certification required
- Experience in General Nuclear Medicine preferred, including bone scan, hepatobiliary scan, lung scan, and thyroid scan
Additional Information
- Prepares patients for examinations and radiopharmaceutical administration
- Monitors patient condition throughout procedures
- Monitors equipment operation and scanning setup
- May float to a nearby sister hospital
- Accepts local candidates at a reduced rate
