Quality Control Analyst Croda is an FTSE 100 organization focused on innovation and sustainability, dedicated to improving lives through smart science. We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join our Quality Team in Mill Hall, PA. Responsibilities Perform routine sample analysis of raw materials, in‑process samples, final retains, and retest samples. Evaluate test results, determine the appropriate course of action for in‑process samples, and communicate findings to operations. Compare test results against expected and historical data, investigate unexpected findings. Conduct non‑routine analyses and other sample evaluations at the direction of supervision. Enter test results for raw materials, final retains, and retests into SAP. Maintain comprehensive documentation on all quality documents including inspection plans, analytical data sheets, lab notebooks, logbooks, forms, and Out‑of‑Specification (OOS) reports. Follow prescribed procedures for maintaining raw materials, product retains, and sample jars. Adhere to procedures for the storage, discarding, and sampling of raw materials and in‑process samples. Maintain laboratory solutions, reagents, and corresponding logs. Calibrate or verify instruments and keep calibration logs up to date. Clean and maintain laboratory and laboratory glassware. Assist in inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents. Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all laboratory staff. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred or a minimum of two years of laboratory experience using analytical instruments and equipment (GC, HPLC, Auto‑titration, IR, Denver Moisture Solids) and running product tests. Proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable in basic chemistry and advanced mathematics (including algebra). Demonstrated laboratory skills and proper techniques for routine operation of analytical instruments. Ability to stand, sit, or walk for a minimum of 12 hours per day.
