We are seeking high energy, cheerful, service-oriented individuals to join our team as Deli Clerks. This part-time role involves preparing sandwiches quickly and accurately while maintaining excellent customer service and cleanliness. The ideal candidate is attentive to detail and comfortable working with food safely during varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches and deli items efficiently and correctly
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service
- Handle food safely according to established guidelines
- Operate point-of-sale system and perform cashiering tasks
- Take customer orders accurately
- Maintain clean work areas and equipment throughout shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
Required Qualifications
- Experience interacting with customers effectively
- Basic cash handling skills
- Knowledge of sanitation practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Clear and effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Experience using slicer machines and food warming stations
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and standard daytime hours
