What You'll Do: 

• Promote safety, dignity, and quality of life for every resident 
• Coordinate with CNAs, LPNs, RNs, physicians, therapy staff, and families to support positive patient outcomes. 
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public. 
• Chart nurse notes in an informative, timely, and accurate descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident, as well as the resident’s response to the care. 
• The ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during working hours. 
• Maintain a liaison with the residents, their families, support departments, etc., to adequately plan for the residents’ needs. 
• Answer telephone and call lights when needed 
• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and care plans. 
• Monitor patient conditions, record observations, and report changes to the appropriate care team members while advocating for their needs. 
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within scope of practice. 
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and ongoing patient assessments. 
• Promote a respectful, clean, and safe care environment for patients and team members. 

What We're Looking For: 

We're looking for someone who: 

• Active RN License in Iowa 
• Current CPR/BLS certification (CPR certification offered bi-annually) 
• Positive attitude, empathy, and the ability to lead by example 
• Strong assessment and time-management skills 
• Genuine passion for working with older adults 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred 

Education: 

• High School Diploma/GED required 
• RN Licensure 

Experience: 

• One (1) year experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred (but not necessary, will train the right candidate). 
• Entry Level (0-2 years)

The Details: 

Pay: Starting at $36.00/hour, depending on experience 

Schedule: Full-Time 

Shift: Day or Night shift options
